Star Model

Jay Galbraith has been working in the Organizational Design area for a long time. His first book in 1977, called "Organization Design' identified the early structure of the Star Model. The name was actually identified in later books in the early 1990s.

An adapted version of the Star Model has been identified as the foundation of the Team Model and the Organization as a System.
