Process Model
Description
The full set of Processes or a specific subset identified for the organization. This model provides a basis for the design of each process.
The process model identifies the relationships between the various processes. These models can also be used to map the processes to the External Requirements Indicator Map (ERIM).
Contents
The contents of a Processes Model are:
- Identified Processes for all processes or a named subset
- Relationships of the processes within the model.
Languages, Notations, Conventions
Processes must be identified by their exact names
The types are defined by the top level capabilities (generally).
Methods - Create, Analysis, Identify
Analyse the various capability models to identify unique processes supporting each Capability
Group the process by type if necessary
Identify the relationships between the processes (invoke, use work product, etc)
Review the model
